The OPFFA extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali, who was tragically killed in the line of duty.
We stand with the Ontario Provincial Police and the entire policing community as they mourn this devastating loss. Constable Bali's service, dedication, and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones and all those affected during this difficult time.

This past week, members of our Advocacy Committee, made the journey to Ottawa for the 33 @iaffofficial Canadian Legislative Conference.
Our members met with MP @Timlouis, MP @mattstraussksh , Senitor @senatormartydeacon , and Senator Bev Busson.
This was a productive week of discussions centring around protections for firefighters and communities they serve from Lithium-Ion battery fires, sustaining support by indexing the memorial grant program for fallen firefighter families, and strengthening Canada’s Airport Firefighting Regulations.
