This past week, members of our Advocacy Committee, made the journey to Ottawa for the 33 @iaffofficial Canadian Legislative Conference.
Our members met with MP @Timlouis, MP @mattstraussksh , Senitor @senatormartydeacon , and Senator Bev Busson.
This was a productive week of discussions centring around protections for firefighters and communities they serve from Lithium-Ion battery fires, sustaining support by indexing the memorial grant program for fallen firefighter families, and strengthening Canada’s Airport Firefighting Regulations.

We had a fun yesterday morning with our friends at Food4Kids Waterloo Region and Kitchener Fire Department.
Together we helped pack food boxes that will be delivered to 1450 children to ensure they have enough food for March Break.
