CAPTAIN CHARLES KIESWETTER

Captain Charles Kieswetter Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to the injuries he received while operating at a structure fire. on December 27, 1988. Captain Kieswetter was assigned to Station 3, Pump 3 on Ottawa Street North. He was 46 years of age at the time of his passing.

 

FIRE FIGHTER DAVID FERREDE

Fire Fighter David Ferrede Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on June 24, 1989. . At the time of his passing he was 32 years of age and assigned to Station 2, Pump 2 on Guelph Street.

 

 

 

FIRE FIGHTER JOHN DIVO

Fire Fighter John Divo Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on April 21, 1990. At the time of his passing he was 45 years of age and assigned to Headquarters, Rescue 1 on Highland Road West.

 

CAPTAIN JOHN EDWARD STAHLEY

Captain John Edward Stahley Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on July 8, 1990. At the time of his passing he was 57 years of age and assigned to Station 4, Pump 4 on Fairway Road North.

FIRE FIGHTER HENRY LECREUX

Fire Fighter Henry Lecreux Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupationally related Parkinson's Disease which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on February 8, 1993. At the time of his passing he was 52 years of age and assigned to Station 3, Pump 3 on Ottawa Street North.

FIRE FIGHTER ROBERT TEPLY (Retired)

Fire Fighter Robert Teply (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on March 20, 1994. At the time of his passing he was 68 years of age and had retired from the Kitchener Fire Department. Previous to his retirement he had been assigned to Station 3, Pump 3 on Ottawa Street North.

CAPTAIN LLOYD MACLENNAN (Retired)

Captain Lloyd MacLennan (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on May 31, 1994. At the time of his passing he was 69 years of age and had retired from the Kitchener Fire Department. Previous to his retirement he had been assigned to Station 3, Pump 3 on Ottawa Street North.

PLATOON CHIEF WILLIAM MISSELBROOK (Retired)

Platoon Chief William Misselbrook (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on March 19, 1995. At the time of his untimely passing he was 66 years of age and had retired from the Kitchener Fire Department. Previous to his retirement he had been assigned to Headquarters as a Platoon Commander.

FIRE FIGHTER MARVIN DERBECKER

Fire Fighter Marvin Derbecker Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on December 23, 1995. At the time of his passing he was 55 years of age and assigned to Station 5, Pump 5 on Block Line Road.

FIRE FIGHTER ROBERT BEZEAU (Retired)

Fire Fighter Robert Bezeau (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on October 24, 1997. At the time of his passing he was 63 years of age and had been assigned to Station 5, Pump 5 on Block Line Road

CAPTAIN JAMES LANGTON (Retired)

Captain James Langton (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a Professional Fire Fighter on September 30, 2007. He retired from the Kitchener Fire Department in 1989 and was a Honourary Life Member for the meritorious and selfless dedication to the fire fighters in Ontario after 35 years of service. Jim was the first Canadian fire fighter to receive the Gold Helmet Safety Award. Previous to his retirement he had been assigned to Headquarters, Pump 1 on Highland Road West.

 

CAPTAIN JAMES REBBECK (Retired)

Captain James Rebbeck (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer which struck him as a result of his career as a Professional Fire Fighter on October 10, 2007. He retired from the Kitchener Fire Department in 2002 after 35 devoted years of service. Previous to his retirement he had been assigned to Station 2, Pump 2 on Lancaster Street.

FIRE FIGHTER GERRY OAKLEY (Retired)

Fire Fighter Gerry Oakley (Retired) Died in the Line of Duty, succumbing to an occupational cancer as well as Parkinson's Disease which struck him as a result of his career as a professional Fire Fighter on January 2,2010. At the time of his passing he was 68 years of age and had been assigned to B1 Station 6, Pump 6 on Pioneer Dr
